SOLON, OH (WOIO) -
A 47-year-old Mayfield Heights man is accused of raping and burning his girlfriend.
Melvin Treadway, Jr. was arrested Monday afternoon.
The 30-year-old victim tells police Treadway raped her Sunday at his son’s home on Cannon Road in Solon.
She also says Treadway burned her with a cigarette.
Charges are pending for rape and felonious assault.
