James, Bunny and Randy DeBarge of the family singing group DeBarge were on Dr. Drew’s “Lifechangers” today to discuss their addictions in a two part intervention special.
During the discussion, James DeBarge – who was married for a split second to Michael Jackson’s sister Janet, opened up about a time when Michael saved him from committing suicide.
“One time I was on the roof of [Michael’s] house…I was going to jump and everyone was losing it,” said James.
Dr. Drew asked, “How did he stop you?”
James answered: “He was the only one NOT freaking out! He seemed to be familiar with my pain…he knew I needed someone to talk to so he was that ear. So we just talked all night and I forgot that I was even on the roof and that I was going to jump.” EURWeb.com
