‘Did I do that?’
Now that actor Jaleel White (most known for his role as Steve Urkel) has been thrust back into the spotlight as a contestant on ‘Dancing With The Stars’ as well as an upcoming appearance on ‘Style By June’, his ex-girl/baby’s mother has gotten tired of keeping her mouth shut about their relationship and is ready to tell all.
Bridget Hardy, the mother of Jaleel’s two year old, recently ran to Star Magazine and claimed that Jaleel is a cheater and abuser. According to Bridget, she found pics of naked women in Jaleel’s phone as well as texts that suggested he hooked up with a another chick the week she had her baby as well as slept with other women in their home. When she confronted him about it, she alleges that he hit her in the chest, pushed her into a toilet and called her all types of names, including ‘White Trash’.
On that fateful day, Bridget claims Jaleel followed her into the bathroom. “He pushed me into the toilet, and it broke. Water went everywhere, through the walls and even to the kitchen downstairs,” she says.
Bridget alleges that this wasn’t the only instance that he lashed out at her.
“Verbally and emotionally, he’s abusive. He told me I’m not working; I have no money; I’m white trash. None of it was true,” she says.
The relationship grew so rocky, Jaleel attempted to pay her to leave:
“He texted me and offered me $200,000 to leave our daughter with him and have me go and start my own family,” she tells Star. “He basically tried to pay me off. I went home screaming and said, ‘We’re done.’”
Bridget says she took their daughter on a planned trip to Seattle and when she returned she was locked out of the house she shared with Jaleel and all her belongings were in storage.
According to Radar Online, Bridget has kept quiet and protected him up until now and even though she reported him to police, she never filed charges.
In 2010, it was reported that Jaleel was under investigation after Bridget claimed he punched her in one of her breast implants while they were driving on Pacific Coast Highway with an infant in the car. She also reported that he slapped her, and pushed her into a toilet so hard it broke the tank.
After the incident, a rep told TMZ, “There was absolutely no battery … no abuse … and the incident never happened. This is just a ploy in an ongoing custody battle over their young daughter to tarnish his name.” He was later cleared of all charges.
Meanwhile, Jaleel tweeted his fans:
To all my fans and those who understand, I have been deprived of my daughter for the last 18 days in a child support stick up gone wrong. Tonight she returned to the only home she’s ever known. I initially thought to never tweet my child but this has been an emotional ordeal.
All the inspiration I need to reach new heights… xoxo… Show my baby a kinder, gentler world please.
Sounds like Bridget is two seconds away from hitting up one of those ‘Hollywood Exes’ reality shows. Drama Drama Drama!
