Rich Dewberry of Denver, Colorado took his cell phone to local Best Buy for repairs.

But, after one of its technicians used it to hack his Facebook account and update it with an “I’m gay. I’m coming out,” status update, Dewberry is now tasked with repairing his reputation.

He said that ex-spouses and friends began calling him about his new update. “I feel I’ve been humiliated, you know, I mean, my reputation has been tarnished.”

The Best Buy employee has since been fired. Dewberry is considering legal action. Of course, there is nothing wrong with being gay. But, it can put a cramp in a brotha’s game if thousands of his FB friends tell their friends who are not on Facebook that ol’ Rich from the day is no longer feeling women. But Facebook tampering is nothing new.

A student in the UK was recently jailed for four months for hacking into Facebook. If you type in “facebook hacking” in Google search, you will find link after link giving you tips on how to hack or fix a hacked Facebook account.
