The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department are investigating the sudden death of 6-month-old Kylie Dawson.

According to the sheriff’s police report, officials were called out to 3195 Millersburg Road around 1:35 p.m. on May 17 for an unresponsive infant. “Something’s been wrong with her lately. I’m babysitting her. She just went completely lifeless on me” said the sitter. She also told dispatchers that she’s just not moving at all… he’s limp as can be.”

Officers and medical crews arrived on scene and located Dawson in the yard of her babysitter’s home.

Dawson was transported to Wooster Community Hospital where she was diagnosed with head trauma. The infant was flown by medical helicopter to Children’s Hospital in Akron, Ohio where she died on May 20.
