Beyoncé, well part of her at least, is heading back to the big screen.
CNN.com reports that Bey, who just did a four-night stand at the Revel Resort in Atlantic City, will be lending her vocal talents to the animated film Epic.
Beyoncé will be voicing the part of Queen Tara in Epic, starring alongside Colin Farell, Josh Hutcherson of The Hunger Games and Aziz Ansari. Pitbull, Amanda Seyfried and Jason Sudeikis are also set to join the film.
Epic is being directed by Chris Wedge (Ice Age), and the movie centers on a girl who finds herself magically plopped into a whole new dimension. The girl teams up with a number of interesting characters who have all been enlisted to save the secret world.
See how Queen Tara fits into their task when Epic hits theaters on May 24, 2013.
Beyoncé is also set to do the Clint Eastwood directed remake of A Star Is Born, but there’s no word on when production for that film will begin.
All this is announced as some blogs report that Bey is expecting her second baby. Either way, she’ll be busy. Via s2smagazine.com
