The jackpot for Saturday’s Powerball drawing is up to $253 million after nearly two months with no big winners in the multi-state lottery.
The jackpot has been climbing since lottery players in Iowa won $241 million in the June 13 drawing, according to Lottery Corp. officials.
The numbers drawn Wednesday night were 3, 7, 11, 15, and 28, and the Power Ball was 12.
The cash option amount for Saturday’s jackpot is $170 million.
It’s the second biggest jackpot this year.
