Veteran heavy metal band Megadeth found themselves in hot water after lead singer Dave Mustaine (pictured) boldly declared onstage that President Barack Obama staged the tragic Aurora “Dark Knight Rises Again” shooting massacre in order to promote a federal gun ban.

According to a report from gossip site TMZ, Mustaine and his band were performing in Singapore on August 7, when he railed against the President, tying him to the massacre.

“Back in my country, my president, he’s trying to pass a gun ban, so he’s staging all of these murders, like the ‘Fast And Furious’ thing down at the border.  Aurora, Colorado, all the people that were killed there, and now the beautiful people at the Sikh temple,” said Mustaine.

He continued with, “I don’t know where I’m gonna live if America keeps going the way it’s going because it looks like it’s turning into Nazi America.”

Mustaine, an outspoken born-again Christian, has used his platform to push his strong politics and faith in the past. He has been especially critical of Obama, saying in an interview with Alex Jones that he was doubtful of the president’s birth record.

Wisely, the White House has not commented on Mustaine’s outburst.
