CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -
The Supreme Court just ruled on a legal issue in favor of the internet cafes. This means the case moves back to the court of Cuyahoga County Judge Nancy Russo.
At the heart of it all, do these places offer gambling or not.
Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Bill Mason recently moved to shut down the county’s internet cafe’s, saying they violate Ohio’s gambling laws. Some of the businesses fought back and got permission to stay open during the court fight. And, again the Supreme Court now allowing their fight to go forward.
