BROOKLYN, OH (WOIO) -
ODOT crews are on the scene of an overturned tractor trailer at the SR 176 southbound ramp to I-480 eastbound.
The accident happened around 12:30 p.m. The truck was hauling a cleaning solution that has spilled onto the highway. The State Highway Patrol, ODOT, HAZMAT and local police and fire personnel are on scene. No word how long clean-up will take.
The truck driver was injured and taken to a local hospital, but escaped the truck on his own.
Motorists can detour via SR 176 southbound to Brookpark Road eastbound to I-480 eastbound.
SR 176 southbound ramp to I-480 eastbound is excepted to remain closed through the evening rush hour.
