CLEVELAND – The two brothers of murdered Cleveland 3-year-old Emilliano Terry have been placed in the custody of relatives.

Emilliano Terry was reported missing by his mother, 20-year-old Camilia Terry, from Kossuth Park on Nov. 25. The next day, investigators tracked down the boy’s remains at a waste plant in Oakwood Village and his mother has since been charged with aggravated murder.

On Friday, Cuyahoga County Children and Family Services said Emilliano’s brothers, ages 5 months and 5 years, are with paternal relatives. The spokesperson would not say which relatives, but added they have been through a background check.

The boys are safe and doing well, the spokesperson said following Friday’s closed-door hearing. There will be another hearing on Jan. 7. All three of the boys have different fathers.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office said Emilliano died of blunt impact to his head, torso and limbs on or around Nov. 21.

Camilia Terry was arraigned by video on Friday and pleaded not guilty to aggravated murder, murder, endangering children, felonious assault and gross abuse of a corpse. Her bond was set at $2 million.
