CLEVELAND – A new, soon-to-be-open downtown Cleveland apartment complex is now taking leasing applications, offering another option in a near-capacity area of the city.
The Lofts at Rosetta Center is located just east of East 4th Street in the Gateway District (629 Euclid Ave.) – in the Rosetta Building (connected to the Holiday Inn Express) at East 6th and Euclid Avenue.
The apartments are the result of a massive renovation project by MRN Ltd. – the same developer that built up East 4th Street and the recently-opened Uptown District at University Circle.
Eighty-five apartments will occupy five floors of the building (four through nine), with offices above and below the residential floors.
MRN Ltd. began pre-leasing on Jan. 15, with the first units officially opening up in March for move-in. Rent ranges from $715 to $1,635 per month, with studio, one bedroom and two bedroom options.
The developer also plans to have an after-hours leasing event on Feb. 5, but details for it have yet to be worked out.
According to the Downtown Cleveland Alliance , the occupancy rate downtown is currently at 97 percent – an all-time high for that part of the city. That rate has been growing “steadily” over past quarters, the DCA said.
The East 4th Neighborhood recently reported a waiting list of nearly 500 prospective residents wanting to move to the street, which has really been the recent epicenter of the downtown movement.
