CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –

A ticket has now been filed with four charges against Cleveland Councilman Zack Reed.

The most serious charge is drunk driving, the other charges are minor traffic offenses.

Reed posted bond around noon, and is due in court on Wednesday morning.

Reed was stopped at the intersection of East 9th and Rockwell Avenue around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday after he failed to stop at a red light and made an improper turn.

19 Action News has learned Reed refused a breath test.

This is not Reed’s first brush with the law when it comes to alcohol-related issues. Reed dealt with two drunk driving busts back in 2005 and 2007.
