CLEVELAND – Kevin Costner will play a fictitious Cleveland Browns general manager in a movie shooting in Cleveland, The Buffalo News reported on Tuesday.

Cleveland beat out Buffalo, New York for the movie “Draft Day” because of economic reasons, the head of the Buffalo Niagara Film Commission told The Buffalo News .

“I feel the worse for the Buffalo Bills, because they worked real hard to convince the film company that Buffalo was the place to shoot this, and that Buffalo was America’s team,” Tim Clark, with the Buffalo Niagra Film Commission told The Buffalo News.

President of the Greater Cleveland Film Commission Ivan Schwartz had no comment when NewsChannel5 contacted him Tuesday evening.
