EAST CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –
A water main break in East Cleveland knocked out power to thousands of First Energy customers on Monday morning.
According to First Energy, the water main break flooded a substation around 6:30 a.m. at 16321 Euclid Avenue in East Cleveland.
At the height of the outage, over 8,000 customers in East Cleveland, Cleveland Heights and South Euclid were affected.
First Energy tells 19 Action News that as of 11 a.m., nearly all customers are back up and running.
