Traveling at 50 miles per hour in from the west side of Cleveland along the Shoreway will next year be a thing of the past as the city of Cleveland and ODOT slows us all down to 35 miles per hours
It’s part of the Cleveland Lakefront West project.
“All the asphalt will be ripped up. You will have a brand new roadway put in. Tree line Boulevard. You will have a multiple purpose lane where people can get on their bikes here at West Boulevard and be able to cycle all the way to West Cleveland,” said Cleveland City Councilman Matt Zone.
The final money to fund the completion of the Cleveland Lakefront West project is arriving this week as initial meetings about the Shoreway project started back in 2001.
