The frigid weather is cooling down the usual hot spots for the children who had the day off from school.

The Cinemark Theater called in extra staff anticipating a crowd but by early afternoon Monday, the crowds had not arrived.

Andrea Reinhardt and her family ventured out to see an appropriately named movie for the frigid day. “What’s more perfect than the movie Frozen?” said Reinhardt.

The normal kid attractions at the mall were lacking the pint size people and their parents. Stephanie Sullivan and her boys decided to venture outside and in to the mall. “They’ve been stuck indoors and they’re going to be so we decided to get lunch and hang out,” said Sullivan.

The Jump Yard in North Royalton is normally closed on Monday and Tuesday but decided to open when so many schools closed. “Let the kids jump off our walls,” said Kristin Collins.
