CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) – A 19 Action News exclusive investigation revealed Cleveland’s most dangerous neighborhood last week. Now, find out what police are doing to take back the streets.
According to Cleveland Police, authorities are trying different things each day in the area just south and east of E.105th and St. Clair. The deadly neighborhood is right next to the campus of Glenville High School.
According to the most recent census, this region has the meanest streets and the highest crime. Shootings, robberies and homicides all happening over and over again.
Now, Cleveland Police have launched a special unit to target robberies and burglaries while other squads go after drugs and guns. Police are even cracking down on bad drivers.
