Marty Allen is a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and a graduate of The Ohio Center for Broadcasting. His radio career started in December 1982 at WJW AM850 as the overnight technical engineer and producer of the morning news. Soon he was offered the production assistant position at WJW AM850. The station was owned by Cleveland Browns football owner Art Modell's Lake Erie Radio Company. Marty soon found himself producing programs for radio legends Merle Pollis and Joel Rose.
