LOCAL NEWS: Eight Men Indicted, All owe Child Support

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Bill Mason announced that eight defendants were indicted for failure to pay child support. These eight defendants owe a combined $169,524.74 in child support. The charge of criminal non-support is a fifth degree felony which carries a maximum sentence of one year in prison. These indictments are a result of a joint investigative effort by the Cuyahoga County Child Support Enforcement Agency and the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office.

County Corruption Player, A Business Owner, Died

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) – The owner of a computer company who won contracts with the Cuyahoga County Engineer’s Office passed away over the weekend.

The Cuyahoga County Coroner’s confirmed the death of 75-year-old Anthony Ma early Saturday morning but would not release any details.

Anthony Ma was indicted in the Cuyahoga County corruption probe and was charged with two counts of conspiracy for funneling bribes to county decision makers in an attempt to win county consulting work.
