ENTERTAINMENT: White Comics Talk About Racism Too

Not since Richard Pryor have black comedians really challenged America’s views on race, especially as it pertains to black America. While Chris Rock and Paul Mooney will always hold their own in the genre of social critique comedy, most current black comedians today seem to steer clear of injecting their routines with edgy talk of racial taboos.

Since the mainstream pre-occupation with racial humor will never subside, some can argue that successful white comedians have borrowed these attitudes for their own

“All My Children” and “One Life To Live” won’t be coming to the Internet after all.

On Wednesday, Prospect Park, the online company that had said it would be bringing the canceled soaps to the Web, released a statement announcing that the deal had fallen through.

Phil Taylor, Browns Agree To Deal

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) – Phil Taylor, the Browns top draft pick, has agreed to a four-year deal with the team.

Taylor, a defensive tackle from Baylor, tweeted Tuesday afternoon that he’s on his way to Berea. The Browns don’t practice on Wednesday, so his first day on the practice field will be Thursday morning.
