On Friday, HuffPost Food reported on rumors that Paula Deen would soon come clean with her diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes. But now it’s official — the celebrity chef made the media rounds Tuesday morning. Here’s the Associated Press on Deen’s announcement:

Celebrity chef and Food Network star Paula Deen is teaming with drugmaker Novo Nordisk to launch a program that aims to help people live with Type 2 diabetes and promote a Novo diabetes drug.

Prostate Cancer Screenings May Do More Harm Than Good
