Many community groups are offering free meals for people in need during the Thanksgiving season.
Providers include the city of Cleveland, the Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland, the Catholic Hunger and Shelter Network and the institutions listed below.
After a hiatus for a family death in 2008, Michael’s Family Restaurant will serve free Thanksgiving Day meals for the 26th year. The event runs from noon to 5 p.m. at the restaurant, 19797 Detroit Road, Rocky River.
