It was a light night in the NBA with only two games on tap.

Here are yesterday’s scores with each squad’s top performers.

Orlando 99, Miami 96.

Orlando: Jason Richardson, 24 points (six 3-pointers).

Miami: Dwyane Wade, 28 points.

Denver 103, Utah 101.

Denver: Ty Lawson, 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.

Utah: Al Jefferson, 19 points, 10 rebounds and 6 blocks.

The Heat’s Big 2?

Again the third component of the Miami Heat’s highly-touted Big 3 came up small during a huge game against an Eastern Conference contender. On Feb. 24 against the Chicago Bulls, Chris Bosh shot 1-18 for a total of seven points in a Heat loss. Last night Bosh was 5-for-15 from the floor and only scored 13 during an inexcusable defeat to the Magic. At one point in the third period, the Heat had a 24-point lead at American Airlines Arena in Miami.
