For many of us our Mothers are our link and rock. They are the reason that we breathe. How many times has your mother been the one who saved you? It is when we embrace those very few precious moments that we understand the meaning of life.
Those are the hands of God. Each time that she picked you up. God mothers are exactly the same. I have had countless moments where my God-mother embraced me and supported me since the detah of my mother. Don’t forget them either. They matter just as much.
Kierra KiKi Sheard gives us the lyrics that most understand:
Now let me tell you ’bout what He did for my mother
(Uh huh Uh huh)/ And at the same time took the load off me
(Uh huh Uh huh)/ Just when the doctor said that it was over
(Uh huh Uh huh)/ My God He stepped right in and gave her back to me
