Floyd Mayweather Jr. announced via his twitter account Tuesday afternoon that he is returning to the ring for the first time after taking a 16-month layoff.
He will be fighting against welterweight titlist Victor Ortiz on September 17th. It is unknown where the fight will take place, but insiders believe it will be at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
