Thome reached the hallowed mark with his second blast of the night, this one coming on a 2-1 breaking ball from left-hander Daniel Schlereth that ended up in the bullpen in left field, making the score 9-5 in favor of the Twins. The three-run shot was Thome’s 11th of the year and gave him his 48th career multi-homer game.Full Story
