The Browns will be without one of their mainstays on the offensive line for the 2011 season.
Eric Steinbach had back surgery on Tuesday morning and, according to Browns coach Pat Shurmur, the team will place him on injured reserve. Once placed on injured reserve, Steinbach’s season will come to a premature end.
“He made the decision yesterday, late in the day, that he was going to have surgery,” Shurmur said. “We tried to do some treatments to see if it would rectify itself. It didn’t, so that was the next action.”Full Story
