Are we over Jennifer Hudson’s weight loss yet? I kinda am and I’m kinda not. The “Feeling Good” jingle for her Weight Watchers ads gets stuck in my head whenever I hear it, which is about 237 times on a given Saturday at home watching a TV marathon — but I don’t mind it. When I see J Hud’s nice trim body and evolving style, it makes me want to ring up Weight Watchers and get in the gym myself.

In the natural trajectory of what most stars do when they reach a new height in their career, Jennifer has written a book to capitalize on her fab physique. “I Got This: How I Changed My Ways and Lost What Weighed Me Down and Found Myself” (takes a deep breath) is described as a weight loss diary that details how the Weight Watchers spokeswoman lost 80 pounds over the course of two years, but comments from the publisher (the Dutton imprint of Penguin Group), make it sound more like a memoir.

A spokesman for the book said it will range from a “chronicle [of] Hudson’s experience growing up in an environment where healthy living was not a priority, to dealing with talk of her weight as she competed on American Idol and won her first Oscar, to her eventual decision to get healthy after the birth of her son, and her success losing weight with the help of Weight Watchers.”

I was hoping for more of a weight loss focus explaining that journey, especially if it shut down the accusations of gastric bypass and other plastic surgery rumors that have followed the Oscar Winner’s journey to get fit. I for one believe she worked hard to earn the body she’s currently working with and I’m more interested in the tips behind that then her personal past, but maybe that’s just me.

Coincidentally, the video for a single of the same name, “I Got This,” will soon be released from her second studio album, “I Remember Me.”

The book is due out January 2012 and I have a feeling it could turn into a bestseller. Will you pick up a copy, even if she does not focus on weight loss advice?
