A restaurant in Watkinsville, Georgia is apologizing after using Chris Brown and Rihanna’s turbulent relationship to promote a new menu item. Last weekend, Chops & Hops advertised their new “black and bleu” sandwich with a tweet that said they had teamed up with the two pop stars to create their “award winning celebrity sandwich.” The restaurant then tweeted, quote, “Chris Brown won’t beat you up for eating this unless your name starts with a R and ends with A.” Many people found the tweets to be in poor taste, prompting Chops & Hops to apologize and send out a tweet saying they don’t support domestic violence.
According to the “Atlanta Journal-Constitution,” Chops & Hops has removed the “black and bleu” sandwich from their menu. The restaurant is also donating six times the proceeds from the sandwich to a local domestic violence prevention group. Chris Brown was arrested in 2009 for assaulting Rihanna the night before the Grammys. He later pled guilty to assault and is serving five years on probation.
In other news Rihanna reportedly wants Ashton Kutcher to spend the summer with her in England.
RiRi 24, is believed to have been having a fling with Kutcher for the past 8 weeks(how did that get pass us LOL) has apparently asked him to join her in the U.K. for her shows at Wireless festival in Hyde Park and at Radio 1′s Hackney weekend in June and July.
She is said to be so serious about the 34 year old, Two and a Half Men star. Ashton just separated from wife Demi Moore last November. Rihanna has even taken him to meet her brother Rorrey in New York.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Rihanna and Rorrey, who releases music under the name GQ, are close so him meeting Ashton is a big deal. “Rihanna clearly thinks things between them are serious.”
