MEDINA, Ohio — Dennis Auerswald of Medina County was charged in the death of his wife on Thursday.
Auerswald, 60, took his wife Maureen Auerswald to Medina General Hospital in February of 2009. Maureen Auerswald was completely unresponsive at the time, ONN’s Cristin Severance reported.
Dennis Hanwell, now the mayor of Medina, was the police chief at the time of Maureen Auerswald’ death.
