Hoping to maintain momentum among Hispanic voters, President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign released a series of Spanish-speaking television ads this week.

The ads will air in Colorado, Nevada, and Florida — all battleground states with growing Hispanic populations.

The four television spots feature an Obama supporter talking about the president’s education policies.

In the ads, Obama’s campaign notes that he improved Head Start centers that serve more than 362,000 Hispanic children and increased funding for Pell Grants to help nearly 2 million Hispanic students pay for college.

A new “Latinos for Obama” effort was also launched to increase Hispanic voter registration and get more Latinos to volunteer for the president’s campaign.
