Neighbor Accused Of Causing W.83rd St. Blast

CLEVELAND, Ohio — William Calderwood, 57, of West 83rd Street, was arrested at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 7800 block of Dearborn Avenue.
Calderwood is charged with aggravated arson.
Investigators say he caused the Jan. 25th explosion that destroyed a vacant house on West 83rd Street, severely damaged Calderwood’s house next door and damaged dozens of other homes.
