CLEVELAND – Pedro and Onil Castro show no sympathy for their brother, Cleveland kidnapping suspect Ariel Castro, saying they hope he spends the rest of his life in prison.

CNN reports the Castro brothers not only called Ariel a monster and hateful, but said, “I want him to suffer in that jail, to the last extent. I don’t care if they even feed him, for what he has done to my life and my family’s.”

Pedro said he felt the same way.

When asked if Ariel exists to them, both brother said no.

“He is goner,” Onil said. Almost as if he were dead, Pedro added.

“A monster’s a goner,” Onil said. “I’m glad that he left the door unlocked or whatever he did. Whether he did it on purpose — maybe he wanted to get caught. Maybe time was up. Maybe he was inside too much; he wanted to get caught, but if he did it that way, he shouldn’t have went to mama’s house and picked me up, put me in the car, if he knew that was going to happen.”

Onil and Pedro were both arrested but neither charged last week. Cleveland police said Onil and Pedro had no connection to the abductions.

Amanda Berry, Michelle Knight and Gina DeJesus were kidnapped allegedly by Ariel Castro more than 10 years ago. Police said the women were held captive inside Ariel’s Seymour Avenue home until a neighbor heard cries on May 6 and helped the women escape from the house of horrors.
