Cleveland – It’s that time of year again for the Cleveland Orchestra’s “Star-Spangled Spectacular” performance commemorating the 4 th of July holiday this week.
“We definitely want to be able to do something for the community and this has been kind of one of the signature concerts that the Cleveland Orchestra puts on,” said Cleveland Orchestra Director of Operations, Julie Kim.
Kim was on hand Sunday as crews worked through the rain to set-up the stage for Monday. The concert is put on each year around this time by the Cuyahoga Arts & Culture group and will take place at Public Square, July 1 st.
“One of the most amazing things is to see is Public Square, you know, filled with like 50,000 people,” said Kim.
