A fallen power line caused a disruption for RTA Red Line service Wednesday.

Red Line rail service between the Louis Stokes Station at Windermere and Tower City has been shut down, but shuttle buses will run in its place until further notice, according to a RTA tweet. RTA will determine if shuttle bus service will be necessary Thursday morning.

A CEI power line fell and hit a RTA wire about 2:45 p.m. over the Red Line tracks, near the Louis Stokes Station at Windermere in East Cleveland, officials indicate in an advisory on the RTA website.
