It wasn’t the start the Browns were looking for, but they quickly made up for early mistakes in their 37-24 win over the Buffalo Bills.

An opening kickoff blunder by Greg Little gave the Bills the 7-0 lead just two minutes into the game, which was featured on the national stage.

The Browns found themselves down 10-0 after the first quarter.

North Olmsted native Brian Hoyer was taken to the locker room in the first quarter after a rough tackle. His return to the game was listed as “questionable.” Browns Head Coach Rob Chudzinski told the NFL Network at halftime that Brian Hoyer, who was injured in the first quarter, will have an MRI on Friday. The team fears there may be ligament damage.

In the second, the Browns scored 17 unanswered points to take the 17-10 halftime lead over the Bills.

After a field goal by Billy Cundiff, the Browns defense held the Bills and forced a punt. The Cleveland offense, after 7 straight handoffs to Willis McGahee, finally found pay dirt on a one-yard touchdown run by McGahee to tie the game at 10-10.
