Eman Moss and Tiffany Moss (pictured above) of Gwinnett County, Ga. have both been charged with felony murder and cruelty to children in the first degree after the badly burned body of their daughter, 10-year-old Emani Moss, was discovered in a trashcan, reports AJC.com.

Gwinnett County Police said that Moss called 911 at approximately 4:00 a.m. Saturday morning, Nov. 1 saying that he wanted to commit suicide after his daughter had “drank some of type chemical” and died.

Police arrived at Moss’ apartment complex and found him standing outside. He pointed to a trashcan in the recreation area where officers found Emani’s badly burned body inside.
