Christian music pioneer TobyMac received his ninth solo career GRAMMY nomination last week, already coming off of winning the “Artist of the Year” (Dove Awards).
The nomination is for Best Contemporary Christian Music Song for single “Speak Life.” The song has been at No. 1 for three weeks on the AC Indicator was written Billboard 200 No. 1 record and last year’s GRAMMY winning, EYE ON IT.
According to a press release TobyMac will release a music video for “Speak Life” in January 2014.
TobyMac has been touring on his “Hits Deep Tour” with friends Chris August, Colton Dixon, Jamie Grace, Brandon Heath, Mandisa and Capital Kings for the last few months. The second leg of the tour begins February 2014, TobyMac will go out on the road once again for the second leg of the “Hits Deep Tour.” The 2014 line-up will include Brandon Heath, Matt Maher, Mandisa, Matthew West and Capital Kings.
