It’s a sixth day home from school for brothers, Jack and Sam Lynch, of Mentor.

“It’s exciting because you get to stay home from school and sleep in, which I love to do!” said Jack.

But these boys aren’t just sleeping in.

Jack is in eighth grade and Sam is in fourth grade and they have schoolwork to do.

“Right now I’m working on a science worksheet where I have to classify items around my house,” said Sam.

Mentor schools closed again Tuesday due to the extreme cold, making it the district’s sixth calamity day this year.
