United Way of Greater Cleveland needs your help to Stuff the Bus with Books as part of United Way Worldwide’s Day of Action.United Way, the Cleveland Indians and Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority are partners to help eliminate summer learning loss.

Help United Way fill an RTA bus with gently used children’s and young adult books. Drop your donated books at Progressive Field’s Rally Alley from 5–8 p.m. on Saturday, June 21. Then enjoy the game as the Indians take on the Detroit Tigers.

All donated books will be distributed to the Cleveland Public Library, Cuyahoga County Public Library, Euclid Public Library, Lakewood Public Library, Heights Libraries, Rocky River Public Library, Shaker Heights Public Library and Westlake Porter Public Library. Then each library system will distribute the books to children – free of charge – to keep them reading in summer and help build their own libraries.
