Sounds of red, white and blue will be heard on Public Square Wednesday night. The Cleveland Orchestra will perform its 25th annual free community concert.
The Star-Spangled Spectacular in downtown Cleveland will begin at 9 p.m. Thousands are expected to attend the tradition. The Cleveland Orchestra is expected to perform a program of patriotic favorites including the Star Spangled Banner, The Battle Hymn of the Republic and John Philip Sousa’s The Stars and Stripes Forever.
The concert will be followed with a fireworks display, weather permitting.
Admission is free to the concert and no ticket is required.
