There is always a stir about the choices made about the singing of The National Anthem at events. The talk is always who was singing it, why, and whether or not it sound like garbage. Jamie Foxx got raked over the coals for his performance before the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight and lets not forget the Roseanne Barr butchering of the anthem.
I believe that part of the problem is, maybe they get the wrong people to sing the wrong things. For instance, I would have probably had Jamie Foxx sing America The Beautiful, Jennifer Hudson sing The National Anthem and comedians well, they shouldn’t sing anything. But if they must sing, The National Anthem of all things, then they should take a page out of Maya Rudolphs page and do a remix.
