Tyler Perry and Bobbi Kristina Brown GETTY(2)

It’s been a devastating few days for the family and friends of Bobbi Kristina Brown, who died on Sunday at the age of 22. And longtime family friend Tyler Perry summed up the feelings of many of them with a short, sad Tweet on Tuesday.

“I’m a writer with no words…. Bobbi Kris,” the director and producer wrote.

Perry, who was a close friend of Brown’s mother, the late Whitney Houston, had offered support to her family, including father Bobby Brown, after she was found unconscious in a bathtub of her Atlanta-area home in January.

He visited her several times after she was hospitalized and joined Brown’s loved ones at her bedside after she was transferred to a hospice.

Perry spoke out about her condition in a Facebook post less than two weeks ago, asking people to “pray for Krissi and the Houston and Brown families.
