U.S. Bank, Radio One Cleveland and Take 5 Rhythm and Jazz partnered to make this “MLK Dinner and Jazz for the Homeless” event possible. Radio personalities helped serve meals for three hours. Their goal was to feed more than 200 people.
For many people, Martin Luther King Jr. Day is not a day off. Instead, it is a day that gives them a chance to give back to their communities.
On a cold Monday afternoon, Take 5 Rhythm and Jazz opened its doors. Music played, a meal was served and more than 100 men, women and children took a moment to count their blessings.
