Everyone said it wouldn’t happen. Everyone was wrong.

Donald Trump pulled off one of the most unlikely electoral coups of modern times this week, toppling the political and media establishment to become the presumptive Republican presidential nominee. His domination of the primary season, which effectively ended Wednesday when Ohio Gov. John Kasich dropped the last remaining challenge to Trump, was unthinkable just weeks ago when the political conversation still centered on the potential of a contested convention.

Clinton: America Can’t Take A Chance On ‘Loose Cannon’ Trump:

Hillary Clinton said Wednesday she is certain that Americans won’t take a chance with Donald Trump in November because he is a “loose cannon.”

“I don’t think we can take a risk on a loose cannon like Donald Trump running our country,” she told CNN’s Anderson Cooper in an exclusive interview. “I do think he is a loose cannon, and loose cannons tend to misfire.”

Prince’s Death: What We Know:

Fans continue to mourn the loss of music legend Prince as state and federal officials piece together his final days.

Developments are emerging along two tracks: cause of death and what to do with his vast estate. Here’s the latest:
First, authorities found prescription opioid medication on Prince and in his Minnesota home during the investigation of his death. So far, investigators have not found evidence that Prince had a valid prescription for the painkillers, leading the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration to launch a formal investigation into their source.
