Colts Owner Jim Irsay Wins Bid For Prince’s ‘Yellow Cloud’ Guitar:

Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay added Prince’s “Yellow Cloud” electric guitar to his collection of musical instruments, per the Associated Press (via ESPN.com).

Irsay spent $137,500 on the guitar, which the late musician used for concerts until the mid-1990s:

Michelle Obama, Daughters Visiting Liberia:

First Lady Michelle Obama and daughters Sasha and Malia arrived Monday in Liberia, beginning a three-nation trip to draw attention to the millions of girls around the world who are not in school.

The trip — with stops in Morocco and Spain — will highlight the first lady’s “Let Girls Learn” initiative aimed at helping adolescent girls get a quality education.
“This trip will allow the first lady to reach directly to publics of three important U.S. partners and talk about an issue that is important to all of us: The education of girls, and the empowerment of women and girls more broadly,” Ben Rhodes, deputy national security advise

Supreme Court Strikes Down Texas Abortion Access Law:

In a dramatic ruling, the Supreme Court on Monday threw out a Texas abortion access law in a victory to supporters of abortion rights who argued it would have shuttered all but a handful of clinics in the state.

The 5-3 ruling is the most significant decision from the Supreme Court on abortion in two decades and could serve to deter other states from passing so-called “clinic shutdown” laws.
In joining with the liberal justices, perennial swing vote Justice Anthony Kennedy helped deliver a victory to abortion rights activists and signaled the court’s majority in their favor could continue regardless of the presidential election and the filling of the empty seat on the bench left by the death of conservative Justice Antonin Scalia.
