Biden Says Sanders Will Endorse Clinton:

Bernie Sanders has assured Vice President Joe Biden that he’ll eventually endorse his Democratic primary rival Hillary Clinton, Biden told an interviewer Thursday. But the Vermont senator quickly pushed back, saying, “We’re not there quite yet.”

“Oh, I’ve talked to Bernie, Bernie’s going to endorse her, this is going to work out,” Biden told National Public Radio in an interview for “Weekend Edition” that will air on Sunday. A portion of the interview was released Thursday evening.
“The Democrats are coalescing even before this occurs,” he added.

Stop Driving These Hondas Right Now, Says Regulator:

Federal safety regulators warned owners of more than 300,000 Hondas and Acuras to immediately stop driving their cars until their Takata airbags are replaced.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said new tests show the airbags at issue have a 50% chance of exploding when deployed in an accident — compared to a 1% chance for other airbags.

“The risk posed by the airbag inflators in these vehicles is grave, and it is critical they be repaired now to avoid more deaths and serious injuries,” said the agency’s statement.

Nearly 70 million airbags in U.S. cars have been or will be recalled as part of a massive safety scandal enveloping Takata since 2014.

Nancy Grace Leaving HLN:

Nancy Grace is leaving her network home of the past 12 years.

“This fall, I’ll be leaving HLN, my longtime TV home, with a full heart and endless gratitude,” Grace said in a statement Thursday. “The network has been my extended family for nearly a dozen years, and I am proud of the amazing work we’ve produced together.”

The host of one of HLN’s most popular shows went on to say, “We created an unparalleled platform that gave crime victims a voice and succeeded in helping to find missing people and spotlight unsolved homicides.”

Is Your Hand Sanitizer Safe? The FDA Wants To Know:

Alcohol-based hand sanitizers are everywhere these days, and the Food and Drug Administration wants to know more about them. It requested more scientific evidence Wednesday to prove that hand sanitizers are both safe and effective.

In particular, the FDA will be investigating whether sanitizers might be harmful to pregnant women and children.
Used by millions of Americans daily and often repeatedly, over-the-counter sanitizers are meant to reduce bacteria when hand-washing is either inconvenient or impossible.
