CLEVELAND — Police are investigating after a 13-year-old boy was shot in Cleveland Tuesday.
Police say it happened at about 7:45 p.m. at East 105th Street and Ostend.
Police were originally called to reports of a male shot. When they arrived, they found a group of three boys between the ages of 12 and 13 on the sidewalk.
Two had been walking, and one was riding a bike when a dark-colored vehicle rode by, and the rear passenger fired rounds out the window.
One round struck the 13-year-old boy in his arm. The 12-year-old was knocked down when a round hit his bike. The third boy was knocked down by the boy falling from the bicycle.
The 13-year-old gunshot victim was carried to a nearby corner store by the other victims. He was taken to the hospital.
The gunman was described as a man wearing a mask.
The incident is still under investigation.
