CLEVELAND, Ohio — Former Cleveland Brown Reggie Rucker will be sentenced in federal court Wednesday for using charitable donations to pay his gambling debts.

According to a plea deal reached months ago, Rucker will spend between 21 and 27 months in prison for stealing the money he helped raise for the two charities he was involved with.

Earlier this year, Rucker admitted in federal court that he embezzled hundreds of thousands of dollars from his non-profit organizations — Cleveland Peacemakers Alliance and Amer-I-Can.
